The 19th General Chapter discerned the invitations that the Spirit is making to us as a missionary Institute at this moment in history. Reaffirming the specific mission of the Institute, dedicated to the evangelisation of peoples, the Chapter wished to give a response according to the Comboni charism to the appeal that the Lord is making to us, through the Church, for missionary renewal.
Among other commitments to implement this renewal, the Chapter undertook to ” join the Laudato si’ Action Platform, promoted by the Holy See’s Dicastery for the Service of Integral Human Development (Laudato si’ Action Platform – LSAP) at various levels (communities, Circumscriptions, Institute)” (AC ’22, 30.1).
In accordance with the indications of the Guide to the implementation of the 19th Chapter, the General Secretariat of Mission has developed a Guide to facilitate participation in the Laudato si’ Action Platform, which can be downloaded at this link.
